Attorney Update

Today was the day for our visit with the immigration attorney. She is going to check into seeing if we have to file under the new Hague Treaty or if we can file under the old guidelines. If we get to file under the old, it will be easier. If we have to go through the new guidelines it will be almost like starting over. She said that she is going to send our information to an attorney in California who is an expert on the new Hague Treaty and see if they will take on our case. She said that we need someone who is going to stay on top of the case and be able to hire their own investigators and so forth. She said we need to get ready to stay with it and prepare for the financial implications whether that be taking out a loan or whatever we have to do. So that's a little scary.

The blessing of today was she didn't charge us for today, because she didn't feel like she had any set answers for us. So I felt like she was honest and straightforward with us. As we left she made the statement that she was going to get us some help, so that was hopeful.

So, the specific prayer is that we get in under the old guidelines and for financial provisions.
