A friend at work asked if we ever feel like a rat running on a wheel and getting nowhere. That's a great anology for our life. Here's the latest view from the wheel.
The latest referral update: The immigration attorney here in Nashville contacted the attorney in California, but due to medical issues she is not taking on any new cases. So our lawyer contacted another attorney in Marietta, Georgia. She is suppose to be very knowledgeable with complicated immigration issues and Mexican adoptions. I called her office Friday and we set up a phone consultation for this Thursday at 1:30. The positive side is that she will be closer if we need to travel to her office.
The attorney here has offered to help as the contact for getting paperwork and documents signed, faxed, and etc. She also told me if after talking with the attorney in Georgia we weren't comfortable with her, she would help us find someone else. She again told me she is not going to just drop us, but she is going to try to get us help.
