Sand Babies

What is a Sand Baby you ask? Well, James' class made sand babies. They found out how much they weighed at birth, put that amount of sand in a zip-loc bag, wrapped it in paper, placed it in a newborn diaper, and added a paper plate face. I know this is a strange concept and I am wondering if my friend Jeff will decide Flat Reed won't do and decide to make him a sand baby. (see my link to LandLife to understand) We have had to take Sand Baby James on a walk, and feed him, and let him sleep in Hannah's doll crib. The good thing is that James informed me that he has learned how to change a real diaper, so that when we adopt a little brother he can help. Yeah, I bet that would change as soon as the diaper had more in it besides sand. Oh, by the way we ARE NOT adopting a little brother. That would really throw our house into chaos since Hannah would then want a little sister to go with the brother. Sorta of like the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Enjoy the pictures of Sand Baby James. Tomorrow, I'll post pictures of the newest edition to our family. My niece adopted from China.
