Well, it was a busy weekend even with the soccer game rained out. The hamster died and guess who found it? Oh, yes it was my pleasure to find the thing dead and stiff. I thought Hannah would be despondent, but she took it all in stride. She was outside with friends when her daddy called her over to pay last respects before he buried the poor thing in a zip-loc (so the dog won't dig him up).Her response, "Eew that's disgusting. Grace come look, my hamster's dead." So much for compassion!
Then there's James who lost another tooth. Now he's missing three in the front. He was just excited that it didn't bleed. "Not one tiny bit." (direct quote)
Monday brought Terra Nova testing. This is James' first year for testing so he is a little nervous. It didn't take long to figure out it's no big deal. This morning he sat straight up in bed and announced, "Mommy, I am ready for Terra Nova. I was kind of nervous, but to tell you the truth it was not one percent hard."
