God Has a Plan

The following is a conversation I had with Hannah after visiting the lawyer.

H: Mom, I don't want to go back there.

M: Back where?

H: To that other country.

M: Well, I don't believe that's going to happen.

H: But what if it does? God has a plan, you know.

M: Yes, I know. In my heart I believe His plan is for you to stay right where you are.

H: But what if it's not?

M: Then, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. If it's not His plan, He will help us know what to do.

H: Will you go with me?

M: Yes.

H: But I won't get to see my friends anymore.

M: You'll make new friends.

H: But they speak Spanish and I don't want new friends.

M: Hannah, if this is what happens, God will be with you. In the Bible God says, "Fear not." 365 times and He promises never to leave us or forsake us. So that's one promise for every day of the year.
