Latest Update

Today was the conference call with the attorney in Marietta. She is taking the case. It will cost between 10,000-15,000. We have to find out what the chances are of getting a remedy in Mexico. Then the fist step here is to try to get a special immigrant juvenile visa. Then we can pursue a course of action with the Juvenile Court here to give us custody and set up a foster care situation to start a path of citizenship. She said the legal advice we've gotten from both sides of the border has been deplorable. (we knew that) She is going to contact a former FBI field investigator to find out what information was obtained from the deposition we did years ago. She believes if the FBI thought that we had done something wrong, they would have already acted. If somebody wanted to push it we could be subject to the International Abduction Treaty. (not a good thing) She said this was not the worst case she's seen, but it is a unique situation.

Our prayers are:
1. We can find help through DIF in Tijuana.
2. We convince people with knowledge of the situation to testify that the birth mother has abandoned Hannah.
3. Financial provision.
4. We all stay safe during the process.

I can't wait until she is officially, officially, undeniably, Hannah Tomlinson!
