The Hard Questions

We are meeting the TN lawyers at 4:00 today. I am not sure what the news will be. But Hannah is becoming more aware of and concerned about the situation. On the way home last night, I was telling her that her Granny would be picking her up from school today. She asked me why, so I said the Jeff and I were going back to the lawyers office. She asked me why has this all the sudden become a big deal. I told her because we wanted to get everything done before she got too much older. Then she asked if it wasn't done because of her or because it cost so much for her to do gymnastics. I explained that it had nothing to do with either of those, but that it had to do with the judges not following through. She then wanted to know what would happen if she had to go back to Mexico. I told her I couldn't promise that wouldn't happen, but if it did daddy and I would go with her. She said she doesn't want to go back. I told her that's what we are trying to work to prevent and that I believe God has her where He wants her right now. I tried to help her know that God has a bigger plan for her life and that we have to trust Him. (Boy, it's getting harder the older she gets.)

From the beginning, I have often prayed Jeremiah 29:11 when I got nervous about the situation. I still claim that God has a plan to give Hannah a hope and a future and that He has plans to prosper her, not for destruction.
